'The two brothers had fought over many issues, but what sometimes got lost in the din of the battle cries was a simple fact: much of the tussle was over India’s natural resources, about how the resources were intended to be mined, marketed and monetised.'

The nexus between the politicians, bureaucrats and business houses is the essence of crony capitalism that continues to plague this country. Strongly recommend that every Indian should read this book.
I appeal to both the authors and the publisher to have this book translated in all possible Indian Languages so that more people are aware of the behind the scenes of Indian Politics and the game the politicians, businessmen and bureaucrats play in tandem to fool the people of this country, irrespective to which political party they belong.
This book should appeal to all those who are interested in following the direction in which "oligarchs" like Ambani are taking control of the country's vital natural resources. It will also be of great interest to journalists since the book establishes a new standard in investigative journalism.
The last third of the book is a bit dry and difficult to consume as the author gives way to citing heavily from judgments and proceedings rather than proceeding with the narrative. One star deducted because instead of closing with a crescendo and call for action, the book ends up feeling stalled.
The content of the book is very detailed. We can see the journalism passion in author's writing. Must read if one is interested to know the Indian political facts which are not regular in newspapers.
