To clarify/update the original post (above), the UV lamp is like a tiny flashlight. I tried holding it in my hand for 2-3 minutes, and that didn't work, so I punched a hole in the top of the box the parts came in, put the phone in the box, and essentially made a little "tanning bed" for my phone. I left the phone in there overnight, but the glue still wasn't cured. After writing this post, I left the phone on the dashboard in my car for a 9 hour shift. It's August in Virginia, and the sun is very intense. Still didn't cure.
I decided I'd power the phone on anyways and just live with a sticky phone, and it looked great, but now the phone doesn't recognize my touch. The phone detected me touching it before I removed the old glass, and I powered it on and used it with no glass at all, to test that it was still functional before using the kit. I had read online that damaging the digitizer was a distinct possibility. Everything worked fine. Applied the UV glue, cue 2 days of trying to get the glue to cure, and then the digitizer stopped working.
I didn't setup my voice mail for remote access before I used this, and I certainly didn't think to back up the phone before I did it. The phone powers on but I can't unlock it because it doesn't respond to touch now. 100% regret trying this. If you're stubborn and want to use it, backup your stuff first. But even then - buy a different kit.
