Product Description

Two brothers. One impossible choice

From the moment her suspicions are confirmed, Lily knows she’s screwed. What the hell is a nineteen year old with no future going to do with a baby? She can barely take care of herself. She needs help.

In walks Sloan McClain, the only man Lily has ever truly wanted — and the brother of the boy whose baby she’s carrying. While Lily expects a great number of outcomes when she tells Sloan her news, him proposing marriage and asking her to keep the baby is not one of them, especially not when she has every intention of giving the baby a better future by giving it the home she can’t.

Having spent the majority of his life protecting his brother from the bone-breaking fists of their father, Sloan is no stranger to hardship, loss and abandonment. He has learned long ago never to rely on anyone to take care of what was his, and that baby is his. He isn’t about to let Lily give away his family, nor can he allow that child to destroy the future he has built for Cole. His only option: marry the mother and claim the baby as his.

But no secret ever stays hidden forever.

This book is NA and intended for a mature audience.

Gifted copy for honest review.

I really enjoyed reading Forever His Baby. This is a story at Lilly, Sloan and Cole. The story and characters were great. Best friends Cole and Lilly made a pact to lose their virginity together. However, Lilly ends up pregnant. Lilly and Sloan want to protect Cole knowing that if he found out he was drop everything and come home to take care of Lilly and the baby. I loved the HEA ending.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute masterpiece! 7 January 2015

This Book!!! You do not want to miss it!
It's taken a few days to recover from this book hangover. Wow! Where to begin?
These characters were genuine & had me laughing as they caused an uproar in this small town as only Phoenix could.
Lily is so adorable, young, & has such a great heart. Even while in emotional turmoil she attempts to think clearly & would give everything up for her baby to have the best life. While I completely understood her fears I wanted to scream at her to let that idea go & fight for what she wanted. But the unknown can sure throw us for a loop at times, so of course I forgave her momentary craziness.
Sloan is drool worthy & I definitely need more of him! ;*} And...he's witty & a total smart ass too. He had me giggling like a teen crush. But, what's extremely endearing is his uber protectiveness & oh what a gentleman!
I totally love how their story turned out!!!
I also could not get enough of the sarcasm in play! And oooh how I'd love to be the one to pick up Georgia Mays' jaw from the floor & hand it back to her after Momma put her in her place!
Between the relinquished desires, drama seeking neighbors, family baggage, & gossip spreadin' like wildfires this was an absolute masterpiece!

5.0 out of 5 stars Some family will go to extremes to protect what is theirs. 29 December 2014

Forever His Baby was a wonderful read but it seemed to end all too soon. Once I sat down and started to read I just couldn't put it down. From reading other books from this author it was no surprise that her descriptions when explaining a scene or person are spot on you can actually paint the character as you read. Lily was a great lead she seemed to think of everyone else before herself and in someway it was a selfish way to handle things but in another she was I think the greatest friend someone could have. EVERY woman has had a Sloan in their lives he may not have felt the same way and you may not have had the chance with him but, none the less there is always that one man growing up that they thought about. Sloan's character was the perfect man through and through. Strong, Masculine, DREAMY! and a smile that could take a woman's breath away. Cole on the other hand was the boy next store and everything you could love about a best friend except he had dreams and he was gonna make it in the world and Sloan wanted his brother to get out of the one horse town they grew up in and has done everything in his power to make that happen..... Even if it means helping Lily hide something that would bring Cole back and leave him to abandon his dreams.

5.0 out of 5 stars All In The Family 4 January 2015

Protect what is yours.
What if what is yours isn't really yours?
Sloan knows the moment Lily tells him that she is pregnant with his younger brother, Cole's baby but plans to give it up for adoption that he will fight tooth and nail to keep it. Lily knows that she must do what is best for the baby and for Cole; that she must do whatever it takes to protect both their futures. Now Lily must do what is best for the baby while trying to ignore both her growing hormones and her continuing attraction to Sloan. Though both Sloan and Lily decide to keep the identity of the baby's father a secret to protect Cole, no secret stays a secret in a small town for long.
Absolutely a perfect feel great book. I loved this story from start to finish. The growth and development of the relationship between Sloan and Lily was very smooth and didn't have any awkwardness. I really wanted to hate Cole, I must be honest. I thought he had to be a self absorbed tool after all the sacrifices Sloan and Lily have made for him but once you meet him you realize he's really just a good guy. I do have to say that when Sloan proposes to Lily the first thing that came to mind was, "WTH is the kid going to call him if he ever finds out who he really is? Uncle Dad? And if he knows that then will he call Cole Uncle Dad 1 and Sloan Uncle Dad 2?"
But barring that, the book was perfect with a great ending and I highly recommend you read it.

2.0 out of 5 stars A jumbled mess... 8 January 2015

Originally reading the description on this book I thought, "wow, this is going to be so creatively written IF written right." I don't think it was for me.

First, I had such a hard time connecting to the characters, Sloan, Lily, even Cole! I couldn't put a face to any of them. One of my favorite things to do when I read is escape into the book. Imagine what their physical features look like, put a face to the name, imagine their body type, style, etc. I do that with their physical surroundings as well. What their apartment or house looks like, how it's lay outed. For some reason, I just couldn't feel enough description to picture what they look like. Which bothered me. The character's roles were so flexible it was difficult to distinguish who they were. One minute I saw Sloan as the romantic, "I'll do anything for what's mine" but bad boy type, then during that first sex scene I saw him as some creepy man who lived in a dirty shack. It was so frustrating. That first sex scene was so unappealing. The words used to describe it, the way he spoke, all of it was a bit disgusting. I'm all for a good sex scene in a book, but this wasn't it. I'm not sure if it was the way the Author intended to write it, but it sounded disturbing how easy it was for him to "f***" Lily with his Brother's baby inside of her. I think I was looking for a little hesitation, but he was so comfortable with the idea it actually turned me off.
Overall, just how the whole book played out, Sloan and Lily getting married, Cole being apart of Calla's life afterall, just wasn't a catchy story to me. Then with that epilogue?! Did Sloan turn Lily into a fifty shades of grey type wife? Seriously, that was just tossed in there and completely turned me off even more and didn't even make sense. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone, unless they are into the "all over the place" type of read.

While the premise of the book sounded good, the story was poorly executed. I'm not a fan of stories set in poor, small towns. What year do we live in that the heroine's business is the gossip of the whole town and everyone knows everyone and such small-,minded people live there? There were inconsistencies within the story and even within certain scenes. One of the characters was away at college, having just started his first year but then it was later explained that he was in law school. Sorry, but if you're 18, you are not in law school. I had to skim parts of the book because it was just so bad. The epilogue at the end of the book felt like it was put in as an afterthought. There was a sex scene in there that totally did not jive with the rest of the book. Just awful. I was angry when I finished this book that I wasted my time and money on it.
