A stack inside of a ball? Just thought of this one - will try when I get home. You can do just about anything with these.
You - an adult - will not be able make a comprehensive list of ways these things can be assembled. They're designed very well and no doubt will entertain the whole family.
You can put them in your mouth too if that's what you're into. That's what my son is into. Me not so much.
Buy it. Now.
Two small things to note:
1) pulling the pieces/balls apart is difficult for the little ones. However this also keeps them firmly together so they won't break apart when playing with them.
2) as a parent, it's a LOUD toy when used on a solid surface. When your little one rolls the balls around over and over and over again, you might start to wonder why you bought these things. In my opinion, worth the tradeoff for a happy child.
When you stack them up they snap too which are different then the stacking cups we own but it's difficult for babies to knock over, the whole tower would fall but you don't have to snap them when stacking but it's harder to stack right. That's my only complaint.. My baby loves to knock them over, teeth on them and play with the balls. He loves the little yellow smiley rattle ball too. You can also use other balls you own like the Einstein ones and put them into the balls as well. It's also a great toy for peek-a-boo because you can hide the yellow ball under a bowl by itself and see if the baby knows or remembers where it is hidden.
You can stack these.
You can put them into balls and stack the balls which is a nice challenge.
You can nest them.
Make each one into balls.
Put the smiley rattle ball into a larger ball that you make.
You can make a ball and put into a larger ball that you create.
You can hide the yellow ball under the bowl and see if baby can find it or remember where you put it or even other smaller toys.
We just got these in today and I'm sure we will find more uses for them and I see them being a long lived toy. It's very versatile! I hope you found my information helpful. I definitely recommend these. It's also great for learning colors and numbers too. They even have little shapes on the top of them. Super cute!! :)
There is also a yellow plastic ball (that rattles when shook)with a smiley-face on it that can fit inside any of the spheres that are made when two pieces are snapped together. My son loves it when we snap the smallest two semi-spheres together with the yellow ball inside it. He can shake that to create plenty of noise to entertain himself! He also likes to just shake the rattling yellow plastic ball by itself.
None of the pieces are small enough to be a choking hazard.
