There are a lot of golden nuggets in the book that might be applicable for senior tech people in all industries. The first pillar, seems to be targeting someone building a consumer product (with a significant focus on context). The subsequent sections are more general. In that light, I couldn't think of someone who would find the entire book applicable in their line of work. An architect who has worked in several different industries or someone who is shifting from consumer products to enterprise could use this as a way to avoid some common missteps.
The framing of problem, context, solution, result is powerful. It's the model that works for a "pattern" book and it clicks. In fact, for a reader of this book, I'd recommend they look at the list of all problems that the book addresses and dig deeper into those that are more applicable.
It is more close to a reference material than someone reading it over the weekend. There are elements of casual reading, with success stories, case studies and reference to famous quotes / factoids that bring out the opinions of the authors, but for the most part it comes across as reference material put together by experienced authors.
