The book is exactly about what title says: how to be emotionally agile by not just using your emotions well but also by being aware of your emotions at all times. Most of the battles are half won if we're aware of why we feel what we feel, and that we don't misdirect those emotions.
But the best way to use this guide to emotional agility would be on an everyday basis. Starting with the first chapter, one should think of how to apply the concepts step by step. Trying not to implement all concepts at once is the only way to use this book well. Reading, introspecting and then applying the theories/concepts in bits and parts would be most effective use of the book.
The language used is simple and clear which makes it easy to understand for both young and mature readers.
