I was very skeptical about ordering random pistachios. But to my surprise, they were great.
1. Salt: my main concern is always salt in roasted salted pistas. But this one had very little salt.
2. Freshness/Roasted: sometimes pistas are not well roasted or humidity affects their flavour. But they were very fresh and well roasted. Great flavour overall
3. Shell: one thing with pistas with shell is that shell is heavier than the pista, affecting the whole weight ratio. But the shells are very thin and light. Pista is very full inside. I hardly encountered empty shells. Mom calls them 'kagzi pista'. Once I bought a packet of pistas from a local shop and half the packet was empty shells.
It says 4 packets of 250gm pistas, vaccum packed but I think in transit, vaccum packaging sometimes get punctured. Amazon and seller were kind enough to send me another package for that issue.
