I have been using this DualShock 4 Version 2 controller from Jan 24 of this year 2020 and can happily return here today on Dec 5 2020 with my review on this controller, after 10 months of usage.
My usage:
I used this controller to play games on my PC and laptop both running Win10.
You will need an Micro USB cable (the ones you will get with your smartphone charger) to connect this controller to PC, as the controller package doesn't come with a cable included.
To connect the controller Wireless to your PC, you will need your PC or Laptop to have an bluetooth. Since most PC's don't come with an Bluetooth, you can use an USB dongle to connect the controller wireless. I personally use an TP Link one. here's where you can purchase it from.

Now the intial experience on getting this controller to work on your PC games will be bit hard depending on your technical and software expertise, but once you figure it all out the payoff will be worth it. Some games do support DS4 controller natively and will load in the correct button prompts as well.
Here are some some softwares, I recommend to use for this controller.
Ds4Windows (ryochan fork), devreorder, and Steam store's controller support (Steam's controller support will only work for those games you bought on steam)
There's an 3.5mm single audio jack which works only if you connect the controller through USB cable.
There's also Sony's wireless adapter for DS4 controller on PC which works if you want to use that jack wireless and to also connect your controller wireless, but overall I have heard compliants of that wireless adapter not working great for many people. Its also not available for purchase in most places online and overall, I would suggest to not buy that.
How to know your controller is legit:
I purchased the controller from amazon retailer Cloudtail, who according to lot of reviews here are the ones who actually sell the legit DS4 Version 2 controller.
-Identify if its fake from the controller box
Front of the package, bottom right you will see an small printed box mentioning the controller color. I purchased the black one so it should be written just Jet Black with no color filled in the text box.
If the box is filled with red or another color and written Jet black that's the first sign that it is an fake controller. I have attached images of the package and the textbox as well in this review, so please look at that carefully to know what I am talking about.
If you purchased say an red or white colored controller, the text box color should correctly match the controller and the text printed in the textbox should also correctly say the color. sometimes there will be no color in the box but just the text with the controller color written and this is another sign of an fake controller.
The overall package should not wary a lot from my image attached in this review, if you purchased it in India and the controller is V2
-No USB cable should be included
There should be no MicroUSB cable included with the controller. If you get one in the box, then its another indicator that you got an fake controller.
-Identifying on the controller
An Sony sticker will be glued above the controller's light bar with the sticker being that of the controller color. If the controller is an fake one, then the Sony logo will be etched on the controller. I have attached an image of the how the sticker should look on the controller.
-From the controller performance
The battery backup of the controller should atleast last more than 3 hours if you are an intense gamer. The fake one will barely last an hour.
The gyro will sometimes not be present on the fake DS4 controller. you can test and see if the gyro works with DS4Windows (ryochan fork) app and enabling the option UDP server on the app. if the gyro works as it should, then its all fine. If it doesn't work then the controller is fake.
-The drifting thumb sticks
This issue is present on the legit one as well, but there's almost an 50% chance of it happening on the legit one and mostly depends on how rough you play with the controller.
On the fake one, this issue can happen almost immediately an day or two, or even an month after purchase.
So far I have had no such issues that occurs with an fake DS4 V2 controller and with my usage so far, I can say that what I got from Cloudtail here is an legit and good DS4 Version 2 controller.
So for those looking to buy this controller here, please buy it from Cloudtail retailer. It will be a bit pricey, but will be worth it for this controller.

Overview:
Controller is a genuine product from Cloudtail India. My package is a international version of DualShock V2 so, don't be alarmed if your box has letters written on French or Spanish. Few variants may not look like YouTube videos due to recent update for the controller. Example, the name of the product will be Sony Interactive entertainment instead of Sony Wireless Controller. Also, the box will be fully covered as a whole instead of covering the controller alone with plastic. And, built in speaker won't work with PC or Mobile devices so, don't think it's a fake product. The speaker will only work on PlayStation.
Pros:
1. It's a solid controller and very comfy to handle.
2. Rumble or haptic feedback is so good while playing games and it also triggers if there's a loot or enemies nearby.
3. Light bar is one of the best feature for V2. Your lightbar will change according to your character's health. You can also customize your lighting color via Steam or DS4 for Windows (Don't mess with controls if you are using DS4).
4. Grip of the controller is very solid and doesn't flip when you are playing games even for a long period of time.
5. Buttons and triggers are so tactile that doesn't need to be pushed hard.
Cons:
1. The left analog stick of my controller started to drift after the 7th day of usage. It's a common issue for all PlayStation controller which Sony really needs to be taken care of. Don't think it's a fake product if you encounter the same problem. All PS4 controllers have the same problem and can be fixed with a quick fix without ripping off your controller which you can find on YouTube. Unfortunately, mine was still drifting and Amazon asked me to contact Sony for a fix.
2. Grip is fine but sweaty if used for a long time but, doesn't leave any finger print marks or sweat behind.
3. Battery life is not terrible but could be improved, it lasts for about 4 to 8 hrs depends on your game-play. You can improve by dimming your light-bar to lowest & turning off your vibration. Also, if connected wireless it will drain significant amount of battery. I prefer using a micro USB which saves battery & charge at the same time also, reduces input lag in online games. I don't see any latency issues both wired & wireless so, it won't be a issue.
Overall, it's a excellent choice for gaming and go for it as it's very light weight and comfortable to use. Thanks Sony for Days Of Play, I got it for 3500/-
