100% genuine and satisfied with the product amazon delivered in 1 day from mumbai to patna under express delivery.
To differentiate it from the chinese ds3 this one comes under proper sealed box with a user manual of sony ds3 whereas the chinese one will just have the identical box but they are not sealed and yes u can feel the products quality differences while holding it in hand. Both the joystick triggers are smooth just like the one that was with my ps3 console. The 2nd difference is the battery backup which will last 2-3 days on average gameplay where as u will have to charge the fake ones twice
3rd u will not have any problem while connecting it to ps3 and once connected it will stay connected for a long time while the fake ones will disconnect after couple of minutes if not used

Reading the reviews, i was sceptical about buying it so I did a little research and found that Cloudtail is the authorised sales partner for Sony India as mentioned on their site. I actually waited till the time the product was available with seller and though it's a bit higher priced through the seller , it assures of genuineness. I compared the received item with the one I got with PS3 in the box and was happy in not finding any difference.I have played it for 5-6 hours before writing this review and i have not yet found any glitch. Also the battery life is like it was with new controller.

I ordered a PS3 controller from amazon a year back i was good very good. So i trusted amazon and ordered a PS3 controllers few days back and the product was VERY BAD.
These are some points i encountered -
1. Model no. Given on the box does not match with model no on the actual controller
2. Analog sticks are very bad and they provide only response in only 8 directions. Unlike original PS3 controllers which provides full range response of analog sticks.
3. Analog sticks are very stiff/tight. It is very hard to play games with this.
4. Left button on D-PAD does not work. When u press Left button on D-PAD it presses UP button. So left D-PAD button is of no use.
5.R2 & L2 also have bad response times. In original PS3 controllers u will get response even if u press R2 & L2 button very slightly. In this case u have to press them all the way down to get input.
6. R3 & L3 buttons are VERY BAD many times they dont even get pressed and u jave to put very pressure on them.
7. Vibration motor is also BAD it sometimes doesnt vibrates at all. (I have vibration fuction ON on my PS3)
8. The PS button in the middle of controller is too soft. It is like if u press it very hard it will get stuck at downward position.
9. Controller randomly turn off even if it is Fully charged.

Im going to order another controller and if it is good I will update my review

Bought from cloudtail. 100% original. Cloudtail is an authorised vendor, anyone can confirm from Sony India's Website. So no issues regarding warranty also. One thing I noticed was that the controller will not charge by any method other than charging directly with ps3. Also even after 15-20 minutes of charge the controller would shut off at cable disconnect. First I thought this was due to faulty battery or something, but after about an hour of play the controller worked absolutely fine. Now, It also charges using 3rd party chargers or while connected to a computer. I play daily from past 10 days and it is still on full charge.

I was buying those cheap controllers. Used couple of them but nothing beats dualshock.
It is worth the price tag. It will last much longer then other cheap products and will give you superb handling.

Pros-
1. Super comfortable; fits in the hard perfectly
2. Six axis control works like a charm
3. Always in control of movements which inspire confidence
4. Durable and long lasting
5. Wireless functionality last for decent hours on full charge

Cons-
1. Expensive then those stupid cheap controllers (actually should be in pros)
2. Vibration doesn't seem to work in game when i do a plug and play on my PC

A top notch device for people who are serious gamers

..my previous outlook on this controller is at the very bottom. this is part 2,notice the difference in paint quality, lets get on with this.

..well well... it has been a sojourn. it has been an oddessy mixed with knotted veins on the forhead and rewards nary so valuable, with this controller. at last for the past two days since the accessories arrived ive been working with this controller;charge/play cable,blue tooth dongles, and wireless keypad all together.
for what its worth.. despite the small wear-and-tear i can see on the wireless ps3 device, its in good working condition-ill just state to the court before going on that it would not have survived if i had owned this at age 10/11/12/13/14/15/16/17/18/19/20/21/or 22- and everything works well.. that said.. the illusion that it or parts of it dont work, is mind boggling. for the last couple weeks as ive tested this..feww[...] i came..THIS 99%/99% close, to asking for a refund for the controller, and then subsequently asking for a refund for the wireless keypad, dongles and wire, as i was sure this had become a wasted time and money fiasco because that was the way it was.

..but.. if you have the will, and the patience, not to reach for the steel bat nexr to you in your room you feel so very much like bringing right down on this controller with all your might-keep this in mind;

..there is, if at all, very little being done for this kind of hardware. thats the price of an entity like sony who sold every fiber of themselves to the fiery down below for as much wealth as possible.and WHAT IS being done, is being worked on by third party people(and what a party, let me tell you) who without the massive rebobinar funds like sony unfortunatly has, work on the existing software slooooowly. motion joy.. xpadder... if you have these.. they are not bugged. they are not glitched(most of the time).. they are full of quirks. yet they are like the cells powering your body. you cant run this controller without them. it is an obstacle with these programs combined with this hardware-its impossible without them. patience. if you should ever come across this difficult terrain as i have and conquered, patitience will prevent you oh buyer from flinging every part of this things hardware back at its sellers from far across every part of the world.

the wireless ps3 controller sold here-at least the one i got- is by no means a fraud. a fake. a sham. nah(although it does seem like they get these from the used asian goodwill store, dont fret though)

as someone who uses this controller soley for the computer, the dongles cable and wireless keypad ive purchased all work. on a pc laptop. i will be posting similar reviews in all the seperate components i bought particularly, which you can see under my name, as they all work for this wireless ps3 controller.when using this with a pc, you need motion joy and xpadder which will work.(avoid the updates. yove been warned about that now)

[..going to write another review but the following account of woe is as follows. please read this very thoroughly and carefully to understand the 1 star rating.
on the date of writing this review i joyously ripped open my weak and silly metal mail box to find what ive been waiting for, for days-the ps3 wireless controller. awsome, no?
i take it back to my house, thinking of playing alone in the dark and soon old republic with this, and oh the memories that will come.
i open the package, pull out the controller- and air follows after. um.. theres.. nothing to connect it to the computer. n.o.t.h.i.n.g. air. zip. nata. squat. ralvmungio.
so..why bother sending the ps3 controller..if you never had anything to connect it to...? a usb piece thing?... a cable perhaps..? it makes the very thought of the saying ''until tommorow'',all the more tickly, in my fist. theres..nothing but the controller in the bag. i could raise an ant farm in there and theyd never find anything but the air that comes after they open the bottom.
heres how it goes. until i find that cable-usb whatever you use to connect a ps3 wireless controller to a pc or playstation 3-whatever- my rating for this product is 1%, and i suggest to not buy it. however should i find whatever you need(a..cable? its..wireless. wireless. wheres the usb part. i bought this..because its supposed to be WIRELESS!!!!!!!) to make this work.. ill raise that to a 5 star restaurant rating.
until then.. consider this my current evalutation until the last part of this god forsaken story comes to a close the way it was meant to be.
..but seriously. dont off-handedly include anything about a usb cable unless its included. jesus crist..
(when i get the last part whatever it may be, the second review makes this one ineffective at that point, so read this very carefully]
