First, though this book is or the younger crow it is full of wonderful character design examples. It is easy to take these characters as bases and expand upon them.. basically.. great for the child of any age :) My be borrowing this from my daughter often.
Second, I love the binding. It is designed to lay flat no matter what page you are on so you don't have to find a paper weight or prop the book open while drawing one of the subjects.
Finally, great price for what it has to offer for young and old.
My daughter tries to draw these freehand. Sometimes she traces them.
Mr. Hart makes drawing fun and easy--the way it should be.
