Excellent and awesome product. Build quality is very good and finishing is excellent too. Don't go for the negative reviews. I have Nikon D3400 and this one holds it very well. Not shaking or shivering, but don't ever compare it with professional tripods. For amateur and beginners it is perfectly okay. Just go for it blindly. Though the end pieces seem to be flimsy, but it does its job pretty well. It can also be extended above 6 feet. Totally VFM and very much satisfied with the purchase. Thanks Amazon
Nice and sturdy tripod, can give 9/10 over all. Feels little heavy. If you are using a weight under 2kg(i have tested only upto it) i will strongly recommend you to buy this one..only prblm is that last leg is not sturdy enough... Try nt to use it... Overall height including the extention center column is about 5.95ft...More over i feel its same as that of digitek dtr-495bh...and it saves me 500rs...i bought it for 4k..where as dtr 495 is 4.5k...i will try it in different places and write a clean review once again.. Upto now i feel its worth buying...
The best tripod at this price. Never got a chance to complain as per to the quality of this product. I am a filmmaker and I also travel a lot so, I needed something portable and durable. So , indeed I did some research and I came across many tripod but this was not listed in that. I thought this tripod will be a good investment and I bought it without any questions. Again an excellent service by Amazon I got this particular item just in two days!! It was nice packaged and when I opened it. There was a nice sling bag inside which was the tripod. At first having the tripod in my hand felt professional and sturdy. Now I use my heavy DSLR with a rig with is really heavy to keep steady. And this chap handles it without any problem. Everything works just fine. Pros - 1. It has a good load capacity 5-6kg 2. It is really sturdy 3. Easy to carry 4. Smooth pan head Cons - 1. It' s a bit heavy for travelling 2. Extending handle is flimsy Nothing more to say about it. Just go for it!
Just got it delivered. First impressions are great, it just surprised the way tall it is, easily 6 foot. Its written "Digitek DTR 500", i was a bit doubtful if it will be an original product as i have not heard or found about such a product in other websites. Compared to DTR 495, i couldn't find major differences in appearance, only thing i feel it missing the extra piece of rod supplied to increase height of the center column. Apart from comparisons, its sturdy, well enough for a semi pro camera, and even the last leg extension is pretty durable giving it a good grip and preventing wobbling. I was so confused while ordering this than the DTR 495 which seems 500 rs costlier, but believe they are identical.
Just received the tripod today. I never expected the tripod to be heavy as it is. Though the weight proves a durable material used and stability it would give, but carrying it for trips will be questioning.
Cons The clips for tilting its legs are kind of lose and tricky to adjust. I personally dont like the screw system locking of legs, i prefer clips which are quick to operate. The level indicator should also be on the collar area. The given indicator could be of no use if the tripod is in tilted arrangement. The Monopod arrangement could be of very little use because the actual Monopods still has some supporting mini legs at the foot which this doesn't have.
Pros The ball head is very smooth and steady, the knobs are also of very good quality. I have seen reviews of other imported tripods of similar features and weight ratios which are of more than double its price hence this is definitely the best choice among its competitors when price is compared to features, although their quality I am sure of because I have not yet used or even seen the imported one (manfrotto, vanguard, k&f concept, benro, etc), but considering their weight they must not have been made of carbon fibre, hence this one is very good to go with. It like the Oneplus6 vs the iPhone. If u have enough money, go with the imported one, especially I like vanguard Alta pro 2+.
Amazing infact the best tripod you can get under 5K hands down. The Quality is way too good for what you pay, a lil heavy as it will be a burden if you're a landscape photographer and would like to take it with you along your bagpack. I mounted my ronin S on the top of the tripod and it held it steadily. The base of the three legs has three options either you go full rubber, full metal(Pointy metal for mud and all) or you go both. Also it can be turned into a monopod but i am yet to figure out it. If you've read this long about my review i would like you to think no more and just hit the buy button.
