She has completed her Masters degree in Environmental Sciences at Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore and also cleared UGC-NET for the same. She has another Postgraduate degree in English, M. Phil in English and Post-Doctoral degree from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. She is a reviewer and critic who has published innumerable research papers in reputed international refereed journals. She has also published several poems in various anthologies. This is her maiden attempt in editing a book of critical articles. She is a reviewer for the journals Writers Editors and Critics (WEC)and International Journal on Multicultural Literature (IJML). She is also a Sub Editorial Committee member of Literary Confluence.
