Dhoom, directed by Sanjay Gadhvi, is a thriller movie starring John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, and Esha Deol. Dhoom is considered to be one of the highest-earning movies of the year 2004, and it's success lead to two sequels. This movie features the story of a biker gang and the attempt taken up by the police team to catch hold of them, while the gang escapes with their incomparable stunts and action.
The movie is set in the city of Mumbai, where a famous biker gang broke into banks to loot money. The gang was lead by Kabir (played by John Abraham), who was confident that nobody could catch him. ACP Jai Dixit, played by Abhishek Bachchan, is agitated by the Kabir’s confident challenge, and plans to take the help of Ali Khan, played by Uday Chopra. Ali doesn't prove to be of much use to Jai Dixit, after which he kicks him out of his team. After Ali is kicked out, Kabir takes him in his biker gang to replace someone killed by Dixit. In the series of events that follow, Ali falls in love with another gang member named Sheena, who is played by Esha Deol.
Jai Dixit works around a new plan to chase this biker gang now, and a mysterious conspiracy begins under the gang's nose, making this movie a thriller full of action and suspense. Dhoom was released by Yash Raj Studios in 2004 in Blu-ray format with a U rating.

What really irks me is this idea you put some adds and VERY long reading menu at the beginning, which you cannot skip and have to endure every time you put the DVD into the player. It may be funny for the first time, but not for the next, as many people buy DVDs for multiple viewing. That's why only 2 stars, otherwise I would give more.
