MS Office is trial version

Got the laptop last week. So far so good. Only disappointment was the misleading info about preinstalled MS office. It’s a trial version given and you have to ultimately buy it online.

As per the name, I have paid for the Office 2016.
Name of Product I have purchased is "Dell Vostro 3478 Intel Core i5 8th Gen 14-inch Laptop (4GB/1TB HDD/Windows 10 Home/MS Office/2GB Graphics/Black/2kg) "
But Laptop is asking me to buy office 365. Need instructions for getting what I paid for.

This product is avarage product compare to other..
8th Gen i5 << SLOW.
RAM should b more compare to money, can b increased by 8 gb..
Proccessor i5 but running very slow..
Display should b 1970×1060 ?
Radeon grafics 520...
If UHD ???
Sound is not for them who loves cristal clear sound, can use extra pc speakers with woofer..
Battery life oh nice u can watch full movie without interrepted..
Thus product is good but compare to money expectation is less..
Blindly u can buy dell profucts...

Simply a horrible device from a reputed company. After a lot of scrutiny from among several devices of competitive specifications the DELL VESTRO Model 3478 was chosen. This is supposed to be a high end PC of this range with i8 processor. There are lot of problems right from Day 1. Main issues are. (1) It takes lot of time to boot up, (2) The Mouse pad function is very flimsy : it does not transfer command sometimes and at other times command gets transferred even before touching the pad. (3) Most irritating defect is the screen blinks off and on while working even when power is connected and when removed. I have informally asked a few hardware experts. Most of them say that the symptoms are normally found in refurbished mother board and repaired hard drive and when Windows10 version loaded is not compatible with the mother board used. Another victim buying a similar product from DELL told me that the computer was to be repaired soon after buying . When the issue of blinking screens still persisted , one of the DELL service persons advised him to keep mobile phones away as the signal from the mobile device can influence the functioning of the device. STUPID talk, is not it ? I have been using ACER, TOSHIBA PCs and APPLE I Pads as well as Mobile Phones for 12 years and never faced such problems. Advice : DELL PCs ? No, No, Never !!
After 2 months : The laptop functioning has gone from bad to worse. The device was taken to the service center and collected after 5 days. Nobody was sure what was wrong and what was corrected. The company was not willing to give a service report. After few days collected with lot of follow ups. It became clear why they were hesitant to give a report . The brand new product needed lot of repairs. The keys were not functioning. It was a second hand refurbished product. They removed my installed OS , and the laptop is now working worse than before. At this stage I do not know what to do. I have already spent more than INR 2000 in carrying the laptop to and fro the collection center. DELL and AMAZON combined are great frauds. Beware !

The laptop is extremely slow and many if of the apps crash a lot. Trying to contact the Dell support from last 2 weeks but in vain.Pathetic customer service and pathetic product!

Don't buy this laptop. Its worst in quality. Forget about everything, just to open my computer it takes 10min in time. You'll can understand about the laptop. Don't waste your valuable money on this product. Thanks.

Please never buy this product... Key board material quality is very bad and not worth of this cost... It should be with 8GB RAM for good performance..spend little more money and buy a good quality product.. even if it is 15.6 inch display..

The product isn’t worth of the money. From the day one it’s showing battery issue. The product is too slow as well. Not sure if the issue was with product or seller changed the genuine part. Overall product is something I can’t recommend or may be I would suggest not to buy such electronic items from Amazon/flipkart.

hi all, i am using this machine from last 6 month and seriously this machine not worth it take 3 minutes to start 1 min to open a folder unfortunately I missed the return window and now i dont know what to do.. i dont have money to buy new please let me know if there is any policy or option where i can replace or return this machine

As this is not consumer Laptop, sound is not great but we can always use Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
