this is the second book of Indranil Roy. The cover of the book is okay. It gives a fair idea about money, demonization. But it can be made little bit better.
The plot is placed in west bengal. Our protagonist arjun is a accountant. Nisha(ex-lover), mehar and present girlfriend sunny. Arjun is drug addict. Story reloves around him after the demonization. everyone life is affected and everyone is struggling with there life.
The characters are well written. Thought they are many side character but somewhere arjun stand in good position. The author touched many social issue like HIV/ AIDS kudos to author for writing this.
The plot is good going and language is simply. Though there are some punctuation and spelling mistake. But it's won't matter when you are in book.
This book touches so many real problems Faced by common man after the sudden change in government decision. As we move ahead story shows the truth and dark side of the world. The story is little bit of revenge too.
Thought its fiction. If you are interested in politics then it's perfect pick up for you. I liked little less but, every book has its own pro and cons.

Every Indian surely remembers the date, 8/11/2018. Absolutely correct, the day of demonetization. The title gives a clear hint of what the book holds. Almsot each and everyone can guess ‘Decoding life post 8/11’ is related to the adjustments and the reactions post demonetization.
The cover is an average one, not very well designed. But it surely gives a glimpse of the book, that it is related to money. Honestly, I did not find it very attractive.
First of all, applause for choosing this plot and content type.
The story is set in a city of West Bengal, India. The story is of Arjun, who is working as an accountant. But this is not the only thing that people know about him, he’s also a drug addict. The story revolves around Arjun and his life after 8/11. The book has Arjun’s ex-girlfriend, his colleagues and his current love. It depicts how demonetization affects the life of Arjun and people around him. The book also covers a few very serious and less spoken about topics like HIV/AIDS (It's good involving things like these which help spread awareness amongst and enlighten the reader audience).
LANGUAGE AND WRITING SKILLS
The book was a simple ad lucid read for me.
The narration is something that will keep you glued to the book.
PORTRAYAL OF CHARACTERS
The characters have been portrayed properly with the right amount of various elements of emotions.

AUTHOR- Indranil Roy
Decoding Life post 8/11 is the second book by the author. The book title is interesting one. 8/11 indicates that the story should be something which is took place on the given date. The cover
Page of the book is showing a sand timer and a 500 old Indian rupee. It's looks good but its could have been better . The plot and tge content is very unique.
The plot is waves around four people Arjun, Meher , Nisha and Sunny. The story is all about the decision which is taken by the goverment of India about the demonetization and how it's effect on people and how the four characters are suffered for this decision.
The author beautifully narrated the whole story. He presents the demonetization and some social issues, specially how the H.I.V patients suffers at present days.
The language is simple. All the characters are well portrayed. I like the character of the tea vendor. The story is fast paced and very well narrated.
Overall its a worth reading for me.
I would definitely recommend to all.
