Initially when I picked up the book I was quite sceptical about it being under the genre of non fiction but it is something that appalled me real bad.After every story the theme, the description and the words resonate in your brain and it definitely takes some time before you come back to your senses to read the next incident.The book is basically bifurcated into 7 stories with a prologue in which we are introduced with Dev who restores these crime files from Professor Dibakar to know about the major murder cases in India involving women.The book I would say will fall under the medium to good category.I may have expected something more elaborate when I read such an intriguing title but it was simple yet informative.I was impressed by the idea behind this collection because this happens to be a topic really controversial and untouched by many authors so hats off to the writer for this.Altogether if you are looking for something different to read you can go ahead with it. An engaging book enough to keep the reader hooked which would just take one sitting to complete if you are a fast reader like me otherwise not more than three.So happy reading!🍁
