The beginning of the film had shocked me. I know, I know! All "family" films begin with the death of someone whom we cherish, and yet...! What the..., anyway. It took me quite a while to rejig myself into the new scenario, even with the Bond-like intros. And then the laughs started coming. But even then, the film remained dark and sombre. The X-men remnants were totally wasted. Cable made it even grimmer. Believe me, I was deeply contemplating as to whether this is a skewed episode of Max Payne or not.
And then came Domino!
Oh, my! That lady single-handedly lifted this film, and made it watchable with a smile on my face.
And the post-credits! They were AWESOME!
Overall, the film is memorsble, but not for all the big ideas. You might remember it, I shall remember it, for a flash of Vanessa, and a bang of Domino.
Quality of the DVD was good. Delivery was neat. No complaints there.
That's it then.
