Expensive but No Regrets

Okay, so I paid almost 23,000 Indian Rupees for the 441 sq.ft model. That's about twice the price of comparable models on Amazon. BUT I have no regrets. I must admit that I have NOT compared it to other brands side by side. But after using it for 3 months, I can say it works very well. I could feel and smell that the room air is cleaner and with significantly less odor, as soon as I started using it. It can be powerful at full mode, and quiet when operating at low mode, which is very good for not disturbing a peaceful sleep. I live in an urban area where unfortuantely the air outside is not very clean. In this environment the PM2.5 sensor is so sensitive that it reacts as soon as I open the window and the outside air flows in to the room, and it blasts to full power. Then it goes down to low mode soon after I shut the window and it detects that the room air quality has become adequate. So, I almost always run it on Auto mode because it seems so reliable. Quality of build, packaging, documentation are superb. This model is made in Malaysia, but lives up to the world renowned Japanese Daikin brand quality expectations. Other than the owners manual, I recommend that you also read the instructions taped on the bag of the included separately packaged filter, and install it in to the body with care.

None of this is possible in this product as it lacks any app/digital interface and doesn’t have a digital display on the product.
They’re trying to attract customer by promising 4 filter change free of costs but that’s a scam for customers to overlook the shortcomings. Most imp is Amazon promotes this product (which I’m certain landing higher sale margin to Amazon) at the cost of customer’s convenience. That too Amazon doesnt allows you return the product (only replace)
I purchased 2 of them for my home, tried one of them for a day only to realise the expectation gap, now have to be stuck with it due to non-returnable policy.
This is totally not acceptable both from the product and Amazon

The fit and finish is terrible , there is a huge gap in body and filter grill. Not only this, the grill vibrates when we start the purifier like a old bus window. Its only 1 month old. Don't know what will happen in long run. Didn't expected that quality from a japnese company. I paid a premium just for the name Diakin. Even the pm 2.5 indicator is not accurate, it shows green light for 1 hour and then suddenly shows red light even when my room is completely sealed, no fan, no ac, no movements!
