These dhoti's are made from the finest quality 100% Pure Chendamangalam cotton yarn	Handloom handwoven by experienced and award winning weavers	Gives you a traditional look

These mundus are woven with undyed cotton yarns.
Thread density of the fabric is higher than that of similar cotton mundus.
Less starchy finish in the saree to get softer touch.


Shrinkage Handloom fabrics are prone to moderate shrinkage on the first wash. Expect up to 5-10% shrinkage with time depending upon how you care for the garment.	Bleeding Handloom and handwoven fabrics often bleed color on the first few washes. Rub a wet cotton swab on the inside of seam or hem, and check if the fabric transfers dye into the cotton.	Techniques applied The specialty of the Dhoti & saree lies in preparation of warp thread by street sizing. The warp threads become almost round and uniform in shape after sizing so that the Dhoti & sarees have a very clear surface without any protruding fibers on it. Borders are patterned with Kasavu (zari). The cross border of the dhoti & sarees are woven with Kasavu by employing rib weave.	Recognizing Pure Kasavu Chendamangalam Saree It is recognizable by its puliyilakara border, a thin black line that runs side by side with the sari’s selvedge. It has extra-weft chuttikara and stripes and checks of varying width.

Hand Wash Instructions : (Recommended)


SOAKING Use mild detergent and cold water. Do not soak the clothes for too long. Wash the clothes immediately after soaking.	RINSING Rub the dirty areas gently with hand. Never use a brush, scrub or a solid bar of soap directly on your handloom garments. Rinse in cold water. Using diluted starch solution for the final rinse give a crisp finish.	DRYING Hang to drip dry your handwoven garments in well ventilated evening settings or shade. Since direct sunlight causes color fading.	IRONING Iron your cottons when still damp. Spray water to dampen the fabric if completely dry. Woolens are relatively more crease resistant and you can use steam if necessary.
