This is way better than the wired one which I bought last time. Though didn't use that other one so often it stoped working after a while. This has no wire and that's the best part. Works really well and gives good sound. We use it to watch movies or series on iPad.

Design Flaw: Watching out for the design of the U bend, can interfere with your USB port!!

I was very excited initially by the product since it didn't have wires to connect to the two female ends, but the biggest issue is the design doesn't have a good tolerance in terms of height to enable other USB to fit as well. So there is a design flow. See picture I have provided. The only way is to raise your laptop from your desk, and vertically align the plug and use which can be painful when USB port is used.

In addition, I did a complete stereo test of of the splitter, it doesn't split stereo sound at all. The product is defective also.

I won’t be able to comment on the durability as it’s been only 2 weeks since I bought the product. However i am really happy with the sound quality, I use it for my son’s electronic drums. With the splitter, one headphone is used by him and the other is used by either his tutor or me. I am very happy with the result.

quality : no complaints, yes when you put on the jack on your device, it does make it cumbersome but then, its designed for sturdiness.
sound quality : a slight drop in sound level ( on a level of 1 to 10, i would give it a 8 or a 9 ) but can be compensated by increase in volume. Ideal for listening.
overall : if you are looking for a good and economical an audio split jack, this is your device.
