The author really enacted the bits of the "Nirbhaya Case" and made the story equally brutal. The language and the word flow was equally good as the plotline. I have no complaints there. Same goes for the grammar. My inner Grammar Nazi was at peace while reading this book!
Everything was measured and nicely put together. The narration was good too and it didn't incline towards being amateurish.
I only have one complain though. The book could have done with a better cover. This one looks more of a cover that should adorn a book of horror genre. The storyline deserves a better cover. Other than this, I have no complaints.
My final verdict would be that I loved this book and one must give this book a try.
Story beautifully revolve around the life of aarushi ,aaryan and their family and friends. The caricature of each and every character is so well laid down that they feel real.
The story has various shades of relationships be it love or friendship.it beautifully depicts various stages of love ,ie,infatuation, longing, mutual admiration, understanding, total dedication and feeling of sacrifice for loved one.
The emotions in the story are soo raw that you actually feel the happiness and pain that characters go through.thats the mark of good author.
Its not just another love story but a story with important social messages:
1)dreams of every individual is equally important irrespective of gender.(the way aarushi and aaryan support and motivate each other).
2)don't wait for change,be the change thats how the plight of women in india would improve.
3)loopholes in our judicial system and need to fix it.
Overall its an interesting read.kudos to the author for such a impactful story. Its like a beautiful crescendo with soulful highs and gut wrenching low.Writing style is also simple, even the newbies can understand it.
