Corsair High Static Pressure Fan for efficient radiator or heatsink cooling. Cooling today's high-performance PCs is a complex task and a single fan design can't meet every need. The fan you use to pull hot air out of your case might not be the best fan to mount flush against a heatsink or radiator.Static pressure is the measure of how well a fan can push air in this type of highly restrictive environment and this is where the SP120 excels. It's an ideal solution for radiator and heatsink use, as well as drive bay intakes and other locations where you're mounting a fan directly adjacent to a heat source.

Jokes apart, this fan really moves a lot of air - they are static pressure fans and are meant to work in snug environments. With two on top and two on bottom, there will be a nice breeze in my cabinet. Constant air flow helps keep the CPU and GPU temperatures in check. It is not PWM and has only 3 pins.
I connected one to my ASUS motherboard chassis fan header CHA_FAN_1 (4-pin), no OS installed and monitor was just showing the UEFI BIOS. The RPM of all the fans were:
CPU_FAN : 650-700 (CoolerMaster Evo 212x 4-pin)
CHA_FAN_1 : 1300-1350 (Corsair SP120 High Oerformance 3-pin)
CHA_FAN_2 : 650-700 (Corsair AF140 Quiet Edition 3-pin)
I will connect the remaining three SP120 to my PSU directly.
One thing though, not exactly a con, but as soon as I switch computer on, the fan rotates really fast and makes low grumbling sound, but soon after the POST beep everything is silent.
Great quality build
Noisy (had to be it is performance edition)
Wishlist: Hope they sold the "quiet edition" in India.
I have 3 performance (2 af / 1 sp) edition and 4 quiet edition (4 sp)
