One gripe I had is that the last two Ratnam films are not as good as others, but they form the last two chapters which leaves an unsatisfactory feeling at the end.
Thank you Baradwaj Rangan for this gem of a book, and for the additional chapter on Kadal. Now it's time for OK Kanmani and Kaatru Velaiyidai :)
Rangan gives us almost a fan like view with his questions on how each of the best movies were crafted.
About the book, if you are a Mani fan, this book is a must have. You get to know how your favorite scenes were conceived and shot. Once you read this book, you ll never look at his movies in the same way.
The paper quality and print is as sophisticated as a Mani's movie. Great buy.
