This is an amazing reference but it expects you have some hands on knowledge of the basics, other than that it offers a great approach to solve a problem that gives the most efficient solution. Each question is solved in more than one way showing the reader the approaches that are best to avoid. It is like learning by knowing the common mistakes one can make. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has less time left for placements.

A different book that asks many questions of ones ability to understand the basics. There are many examples and it definitely will help you to ace a tech interview. However, relying exclusively on this book will not be sufficient and you will need to go the extra mile (especially if you are appearing for Google, Apple, amazon and the likes)

This is a good book but has a lot of wrong syntax. When I got to page 19, I came across 2 example programs that had the wrong syntax. Moreover the website mentioned in the book looks like a Company's About Us page and not a place where the errors of the book are reported.

Good Book. But do not buy this book if you have the Data Structure book of the same author. I do not understand why the author publish the same book with minor or no changes in the content. For example, this book contains almost entire content of the Data Structure book along with some additional content. I read the Data Structure book of the same author and no doubt, it is a good book. With that impression in mind, I ordered this book and now when I opened the book, its a merged copy of Data Structure book, along with some additional content. Be careful while purchasing this book if you have the Data Structure book of the same author.
