As a fellow Buddhist, Buddhist teacher, blogger, and poet, I am probably biased, but to try to write about our experience as humans - just humans - requires, first, that we truly experience each moment. The author truly does.
I am both a fan and practitioner of Haiku, and I was especially struck by his ability to "gotcha" in syllables of 5-7-5. He had me standing in his shoes with the poems "Motion Pictures" and "Frog Ponds". Those 2 Haiku alone make this book a treasure!
