Jaybird & Mais 320 Clear Poly Hockey Sock Tape is a thick mil gauge poly sock/shin pad tape. It is transparent so it will not conceal uniform colors. It also has excellent stretch properties for applying over shin pads with desired tension and will conform well for a tight fit. Clear Poly Hockey Tape is hand tearable

By the way for anyone who has "investigated" hockey tape. This is the kind of clear hockey tape that actually has a very light yellow tinge to it. I have found through experience that this kind has a much nicer stretch to it and is superior to the truly-clear clear hockey tapes you find more commonly in stores.
