Fan breaks down within one year!
23 July 2015
This one provides the best value for money amongst all fans I've checked out. The fan gets quite noisy at peak RPM (especially irritating in an air-conditioned room), but in-game music/speech/sound can cancel quite a lot of it out (assuming a gamer would purchase this). This fan provides some serious blow (90 CFM) at max RPM and is most convenient for people who have automatic/manual speed control in their CPU cabinet, as the noise would be reduced when the CPU/GPU is idle or running at low load.
I have two stock front intake fans and one stock rear exhaust fan which came with my cabinet and I installed two of these fans for top exhaust; this has resulted in a 5 deg C drop in idle temperatures (from 42 to 37)! The air flow provided by the stock fans is nothing compared to this monster! I'm thinking of replacing the stock fans with three of these soon!
April, 2016 update: One of the fans has slowed down and started making a lot of noise... It doesn't start up unless the speed is turned up to at least 30%... Considering claiming warranty and see what happens. Ordered a Cooler Master SickleFlow X LED fan in the meanwhile.
