Tracey’s sharing life stories brought actualization.
So many gems. Providing ways to improve ones effectual existence.
I appreciate the progression path. Self-care. Coaching use of questions, direct communication, and even the points of contemplation.
Tracey’s “renaissance” time of inquiry, introspection, reflection, and clarity as a daily practice is beautifully conveyed.
There are reflection questions and prompts throughout the book that allow the reader to reflect, journal, think, and plan for intentional change that can be made in our personal lives. This is a valuable exercise for me because it gives me tangible tools that I can use and is not limited to some theoretical summary of what could be done. If you have the time, you can do the work with the tools provided here to chart a course to a more purposeful alignment.
I found this book helpful as I navigate the challenges of 2020 with a pandemic, racial uprising, environmental challenges, and polarized political climate that is transforming right before us. Through reading about Ms. Greene-Washington's journey to a more purposeful alignment, I'm encouraged and hopeful that I can find a more purposeful alignment too.
I would recommend this book to anyone that has an open mind and is interested in dismantling old ways of thinking (whatever that means for you within the context of your environment). To be clear, I'm still reading this book so there probably more I could say but I'm going to stop right here and say one more time: THIS BOOK IS WORTH A READ AND THE TIME!
This book was written just in time but hey, they say God works in mysterious ways. Great job Tracey, THANK YOU!
