When it comes to security, BlackBerry smartphones powered by Android are ahead of all other Android smartphones. Security isn’t something that’s tacked on, it’s fully integrated into the BlackBerry device hardware and OS. BlackBerry sets the bar in incident response and patch managementand brings world-renowned security experts and testing to the DTEK series. When it comes to protecting business-critical data and personal privacy BlackBerry will keep you safe and secure. When a user boots up their device, it’s important that they’re able to trust that only a BlackBerry signed OS can be loaded and it hasn’t been tampered with since the last restart. That’s where the secure boot process comes in on the DTEK series. Starting with the hardware Root of Trust, each stage of the secure boot chain must first verify that the next component is fully intact before proceeding.

I purchased it because of the brand name, the reputation it carries and the way it looks. It is bulky, and the in-box earphones are awful. If you're in the market with a sub-10,000 budget, Micromax has better, lighter phones. Accessories are readily available, and tinkering with the software is easy. They don't look tacky either.
But but but in other hand....
Means I'm using this phone last 3n1/2 years nnn now i go back with NOKIA soo
First of all BB service centre is in Delhi very few means may be 2 (one of them is closed which was at golmarket in R K ASHRAM MARG n 2nd in at CP)
--- headphone gone in 2nd year after purchased n the same year the headphone jack (3.5mm) is some time working or some time not
----the top shortcut bar is not working after 2nd n 1/2 years from purchased
---- every year you have to buy usb charging cable (original cable from the BB store is 1200/-) means it's not durable..
----by mistake I lost my sim card Jack n the cost of this on BB store is 2500/-
SO NOW IS YOUR TURN ....
YOU GUYS REALLY WANT TO BUY IT..?
Specially BBOS. It is superb. IOS 11 has introduced some gestures controls with Iphone 8.... all those are copied from BBOS.
BBOS is like 3 years ahead of Apple.
The best feature of this phone is the notification hub..!! Its wonderful.
Perfect memory management. Very Secure.
The only thing which did not made this phone popular was the APPs, although it can run most of the android apps.
If you dont mind apps then this is the best phone ever.!!!
