Lots of sidelights and information on little known aspects of the Indian military.
The downside is the bad editing. It seems like the Admiral penned down his loose thoughts and the publishers printed them on an as is basis. Very unprofessional of the publisher. In numerous places one doesn't know when the sentence ended and when the next thought begun. A lot of guesswork is required to make sense sometimes. Those with some knowledge of the military will be able to make some sense most of the time but even then one is not sure what the Admiral meant. Probably the Admiral was not in the right frame of mind to sit down with the editors and explain things to them. Feels like a rushed job.
However, Bhagwat's brilliance makes up for the shoddy editing.
