There are several excellent reasons why it makes good sense to have a tyre inflator in your car at all times. Imagine being stranded at the middle of the road at night in case you get a flat tyre. Its not safe. A tyre inflator will help you inflate your tyre instantly and get you to the nearest garage. No need to stand in queues at petrol pumps to top up the tyre air. Last but not the least, you can use your tyre inflator to inflate your children’s bike wheels, footballs, swimming floats and even the occasional air mattress. Bergmann Germany now brings to you a carefully designed tyre inflator that is not just quick but is sturdy, safe, robust, durable, ultra-portable and convenient. Its powerful 100% copper motor is designed for efficient long term operation even under harsh climatic conditions. Simply plug it in your car’s cigarette lighter socket, fix the hose brass valve to your tyre and switch it on. It is super-quick and can inflate a mid-size tyre from 0 to 30 psi in just about 2 minutes (we recommend you keep car engine running to give maximum power to the inflator). The easy-to-read Pressure Gauge is accurate up to +2% and is protected with a rubber bumper. You also have a bright LED light which would prove very handy during use in dark or low light conditions. Its high quality braided (knitted) rubber air-hose is heat and wear resistant. Durable metal body is grounded by anti-vibration rubber feet to prevent unwanted movement. There is no periodic maintenance required and the design is oil-free. Extra nozzles have been provided for inflating toys, balls and water sport equipment. Finally, you can rest in peace with a no questions asked 1 year warranty. In the interest of the consumer, please beware of the following types of tyre inflators. Plastic body air compressors are not able to radiate out the heat generated during compression. This results in increased wear and tear of the inner parts, resulting in a shorter lifespan. Metal air compressors are sturdier, can radiate heat better. Double cylinder air compressors are technically not suitable to be run in a car as they are known to drain out the car battery. Their current requirement is very high and there is also a risk of the car inner circuit fuse getting blown off. The power of a Tyre Inflator is determined by Watts and Litres/minute. Often, many manufactures try to fool consumers by stating higher psi figure (such as 300 psi). The psi figure only indicates what the gauge can measure and is in no way related to the power of the inflator. It is recommended to keep the car engine running while using the tyre inflator. Heat is generated during any air compression. It is important for the device to radiate out the heat to prevent wear and tear of inner components. Do not worry if the device gets slight heated up. It is normal.

Included were the usual accessories (adopters to inflate toys, cycle tyre, etc) and, a 15A replacement fuse. The fuse holder is inside the plug for the cigarette lighter socket. I'm impressed that it comes with a fuse as it therefore is less likely to blow a fuse in my car.
One oddity I noticed was that the box said "Germany" below the name Bergmann. It does not say "Made in Germany" anywhere. I've seen other products being sold that say "German design" what that is supposed to mean is anyone's guess. In this case, does it mean German design or German copy or simply to fool us into believing it is German made? The user manual and warranty is printed in Mumbai, India and to exercise the warranty, you would have to ship the product to a company in Mumbai.
The analog pressure gauge on the inflator was out by roughly 5 psi. Please see attached photo and vid. I pared the air hose with an accurate digital pressure gauge. While the digital pressure gauge read 35.5 psi, the analog pressure gauge on this device read 41 psi. That's a 5.5 psi difference and for a tyre, that is a lot as it will make a big difference in the vehicle handling.
The device feels quite light and the plastic a bit tacky. When carrying it around if I drop this, the plastic will probably break apart so I guess I'm going to have to handle this new baby with care.
So, I give it 5-stars for looks and performance and deduct 1-star for poor quality analog pressure gauge and tacky plastics.
I have been using this product and after spending countless hours reading reviews on so many tyre inflators, I finally zeroed down to this one.
Trust me, this is just too good, fills up the tyre pretty fast and has a good build quality.
As a perk, it also has a torch on it which does the job very well ! Also comes with three adaptors to fill air in football, balloons / inflatable anything.
Cons: The pressure gauge / meter on this one does not show the right pressure, you will have to use a separate pressure gauge to get a precise reading. After a while you will get used to the reading on the pressure gauge of this pump.
Caution : keep the engine running while using pump, also always switch off the pump using the switch provided on the pump. Do not connect to the cigarette lighter which the switch in ON position. If used carelessly, you will have a high chance of blowing a fuse.
I bought in 1680 best working...
Very minor vibrations...
Only two issues...
1. LED Tourch given emits very less light in short useless
2. Pressure Gauge shows 10 PSI less ..
I.e if you want to inflate 40 psi then you have to go for 50 psi in it's dial.
But i suggest you can go for it blindly. ..
Best in it's class....
Thanks Seller & Amazon for Genuine Product...
have it with me in the car always.
the screw in mechanism is a little tough at times ..but holds sure during fill-ups.
