He is a recipient of FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research, Philadelphia, USA) fellowship for in novation in medical I education. He is the recipient of Prof K.P. Puthuraya National Award for Best Teacher in Physiology and M.L. Gupta Award for substantial contribution in Medical Education awarded by Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India.
He is on the Editorial Board of several journals and is also a member of the National Scientific Advisory Committee of the Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India. He also serves as an examiner at both UG and PG levels.

HH Sudhakar MD
is serving as Professor and Head of Physiology, Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru. He has an experience of 24 years of teaching physiology to both UG and PG students. He has published/presented more than 30 scientific papers in national and international journals and conferences. He is on the Editorial Board of Arogya Vignana, the journal of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. He also serves as an examiner at both UG and PG levels.
