The quantitative section is really exhaustive although the verbal section is not that great.
Barron's is primarily an introductory book, for those who are unfamiliar with the GRE test pattern and question types. It contains some good questions for practice, which are slightly tougher than the actual GRE questions - which is good, in my opinion, because it is better to prepare for something tougher than something easier. For that reason, I recommend this book.
It is not a good book for those who are only looking for practice questions.
I found most of the intro to math sections rather unnecessary, especially if you are still in touch with the math you were taught in school.
A big drawback: the tests on the CD did not work properly, and the sample tests' scores in the book are not adjusted for the difficulty.
