The first chapter of the book Dinacharya deciphers many old wisdom of our culture like benefits of sitting on the floor while eating, importance of eating food with hands, benefits of chewing well, significance of lighting a candle, tongue scraping etc.
The other chapters talk about following:
* Scientific logic behind many habits like applying sindoor, wearing toe-rings, idol worship etc.
* Indian Superfoods ( Mango, Banana, Ajwain, clove, amla etc.)
* Wisdom tips ( right cookware, yoga etc.)
* Hacks for healthy living ( ear pain, loss of apetite, aches etc.)
* Recipes ( Luke's khichdi, Kanji, Immunity powder etc.).
Tamanaah has given her feedback cum mantras in between.
Overall a good book to read.
A nice reminder for all of us.
Lets be proud to be an Indian and respect our ancient wisdom.
