4.0 out of 5 stars Stylish look. Milanese loop and stainless steel! Cellular model
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on 8 October 2019
Reason for not giving 5 rating is,
1.when pre-booked arriving date was 30 Sep 2019 but was delivered on 3rd October
    2. Airtel confirmed that ( after multiple call) there is no information available for 5series ( also no carrier update as of today)so even it is paired there will be some issues it seems.
    3. As they said, initially even though watch was marked as mirror of iPhone.. notifications of messages , mail and Whats notifications took some time to syncing with watch.
    4. To my surprise, initially after pairing I was able to receive calls in watch with ringtone/ haptic . I unpaired ( need to call 121 to deactivate watch from iPhone, otherwise we will have issue if you pair again.. like mobile data setup will fail) and paired again and were able hear ringtone in iPhone and watch without any issues. Finally call sync issue was resolved ( I thought )..

But to my surprise further doing analysis.. found I was able to make calls in watch and iPhone parallel with same number . Confused 🤔..Let me explain
I made a call through watch .. once connected , placed a call from iPhone to another person.. were it got connected to that person. Watch or neither iPhone did not disconnect. I showed above scenario as a live demo to apple retailer and also to the Apple authorised service Center. Even they were surprised. They also couldn’t provide an answer..

Then I though to return .. and requested for the same..it was accepted. But still I couldn’t believe it as manufacturer defects .. so again called Airtel to check .. where they said .. there is no info available for 5 series watch( but for 3 &4 it is there and same had been linked in apple website). So they cannot help to resolve.. as there is no Carriers update available..

Note: When connected via Bluetooth.. i was not able to place parallel calls.. I can see the green icon on the watch if I am talking in the phone.. also was able to transfer the call to watch without issue.

Apart from that .. rest all notifications like gmail, Whatsapp, messages. Are working fine.

Please let me know anyone is facing similar issue in cellular model

    Thanks
    Soma

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Watch, But
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on 18 January 2020
It’s a nice interesting watch, looks really nice. But few things I didn’t like.
    1) late notification
    2) draining battery
    3) weak cellular strength(in comparison with mobile)
Value for money:- it’s definitely overpriced and I think the only reason behind that is due to absence of good competition, for this heavy price there is no life changing activity inside this. But sometimes you feel like you got a new friend, I tried to avoid/ reduce phone usage. But guess what I always miss some notifications, I found it very bad. Apple need to improve a lot. But as a result of leader in the market they are selling it like apples :)
Battery Life:- Very bad, now am in a situation to charge my phone and watch lol, 10-14hrs with good to high use. Actually that’s very disappointing for a customer (iOS 6.1.1).
Notifications:- with wifi, notifications are almost within 3-5 seconds. But with mobile data difference is 5-15 minutes. Even though it show range notifications are not on time. Calls and sms are on time.
Display:- even though Apple has introduced lots of good widgets but it drains battery a lot and we need to use simple watch face. So again we have nice features but we should not use it.
Delivery:- I had a very bad experience during delivery, there is only one seller online and when I plan to order product it shows in product page that delivery by tomorrow 9pm (Monday). My watch is actually my birthday gift from my wife so based on the date shown we have decided to order. But before paying delivery date change to Monday - Friday and after placing order it change to delivery by Friday and finally I got product on Thursday. If last possible date is Friday in product page also it should be the last date. So I have an advise to the buyers that if you have any special functions or if you want to gift somebody don’t depend here. I have already informed amazon about my experience.Hope they will take care.

Based on my experience Bluetooth model is better than cellular one.
Bluetooth model gives better battery life, around 30% better.
Currently am using Airtel esim and always when you switch off mobile data in your iPhone, watch sim disconnects and to reconnect you need to contact Airtel and they takes around 15 days to reconnect. So esim experiences are very bad for me.
Also if you keep Bluetooth on most of the calls and notifications will deliver faster than esim, also for applications sinking you should turn on Bluetooth lol. So for series 5 Bluetooth is superior, may be in future cellular.
