4.0 out of 5 stars Poor stabilizers: Mark of a budget keyboard
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on 3 November 2022
The keys themselves don’t sound too bad. The switches (Jixan reds) are smooth, incredibly light, and require very little force for actuation.

If one doesn’t touch any of the modifier keys they will find this keyboard rather enjoyable. But, as soon as you hit the spacebar key you are reminded that this is indeed an entry-level board. It is very rattly.

Put against the competition, well, it holds up really well.
Cosmic Byte has their Artemis 60% board, sold exclusively with blue switches.
TKL options in the price range include offerings from Cosmic Byte, EvoFox, and Redragon. All of them have terrible stabs as well.

For ~₹900 more you can get the Redragon K617. That is perhaps the only board that has decent stabs, good lighting, and build quality in this price tier.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Best 60% Keyboard in Budget Segment
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on 13 January 2022
Starting with the package, it comes with a 1.5m braided cable, a User manual, and the keyboard itself. Manual has all the important shortcut keys which are quite useful. There is no keycap puller available with this mechanical keyboard.
Talking about its first impression: The keyboard feels premium although both keycaps and base are built of plastic. As it is 60% keyboard its is easily portable and can even be usable with our gaming laptop. On the backside, there is a 2-step height adjustment feature available.

Keycaps & Switches: Keycaps are of the plastic build. Font design is OK but the finishing is somewhat lacking. RGB looks good on these keycaps. Now talking about switches older model has blue switches on them, but this new one has RED switches. I personally like red switches because they create less noise than the blue ones. But the Red switches used in this keyboard are from the JIXIAN brand which is basically a cheap copy of Cherry red switches.
    Here are some Quick Pros and Cons;
    Pros
    • Affordable 60% Mechanical keyboard
    • Detachable Type-C makes it portable to use.
    • Dual Height Adjustment feature

    Cons
    • Cheap rubberized Grip on the back-side of the keyboard (can be easily peeled off)
    • No Software support
    • JIXIAN Red Switches are not that good

Overall, you can buy this keyboard if you are on the budget side and don’t want to speed 2.5-3k on a 60% keyboard.. then this is still a value for money under 2k!

3.0 out of 5 stars Ideal Beginners 60% Keyboard
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on 15 July 2021
The keyboard is straight 60%. None of that ten key less approach.

While it is super compact, only the main characters allow the led light through. So, the secondary function won't be visible in a bright or glare environment.

While they have blue switches, I wonder how they sound much more softer than Outemu blue. Maybe extra foam or lube has been used. Blue switches are generally the loudest, but these sound like a bit louder than brown switches.

Key travel is very good and doesn't stress out your palms or hands. I primarily use keyboards for typing, so comfort means a lot to me.

I was sceptical about a 60% keyboard, but after spending an hour with it, I think it will just take some getting used to to adjust with the key placement.

The backlight is strong even at the lowest brightness and the areas are preconfigured, so it's a rainbow lighting, rather than individual RGB. This might mean something to gamers. There's no software, so custom key lighting or profile lighting will be hard. You get a manual with the shortcuts to adjust the LEDs in the box. Haven't found anything online regarding this. Noticed that once you turn off the computer or disconnect the keyboard, the keyboard resets to the factory setting, so if you have chosen a particular lighting mode, you will have to set it back again.

What matters most to me to the key travel and response, apart from the visibility of the legend. Would have given another star had the secondary functions been LED compatible as well. Overall, happy with this.

Will update the review after a couple of months of use.
