And for amazon..i never got any bookmark from amazon with the book.. But i have read reviews of people saying they received bookmarks from amazon.. Why is that so amazon? Am i not paying you equally? :(
The comic is absolutely hilarious and the most relateable part was the thought bubbles. Oh how you think exactly that way and since you are an adult you cannot say it aloud and yet you want to scream at everyone and stay put in your home and just be there covered under your sheets forever. But life keeps happening.
This is going to be my go-to comic whenever I feel the need to have some cheer in my life.
Thank you Sarah.
Sarah has scribbled out a bunch of adorable, but at times hard hitting comics, based mostly out of her own experiences with friends, family, pets and life itself. I haven't met anyone so far who has read the book and couldn't relate to at least some of it. Heck, I could relate to quite a lot and I'm not even a clumsy, soft toy obsessed girl.
There is no way that this book would leave you without a bunch of smiles. I just bought it on a whim, finished it in a couple of hours and I simply couldn't resist getting the next book of this series (review coming soon).
This is an account of someone hoping to figure out the adulthood conundrum. Sarah describes the day-to-day incidents with her own personal brand of humor which is the USP of this book for me. Her struggles with being an introvert, making friends, washing clothes (or not washing clothes) and juggling life while being a bookworm happen to be my favorite panels in the book.
Everyday experiences and regular thought patterns conveyed humorously through minimalistic cartoon panels.
I was elated to find this book on my table when I got home from work and sitting down with it made me break into big frequent smiles.
Sarah is simply brilliant. A great book to have. Wish it were a bumper digest.
One star off because it's a somewhat thin book with just 109 pages. Still worth it and no regrets buying.
The only problem was that it showed that the price is double of what is actually is so it made me believe I was getting a discount when in reality I just purchased it at 583 which is 16 rupees short of the MRP
