The most important technique this program teaches (in my opinion), is how manage the inner cavity of your mouth while speaking (by holding your lips and tongue in a specific manner) to produce resonance of sounds a certain way. This alone creates the basic sound of the accent - without changing anything else about the pronunication of words. The lessons do go into depth about proper vowel pronounciations and all the exceptions, but the basic mouth-positioning technique was vital to success - and I would have never thought of that on my own.
While some of the excercises are tedious (and may at first seem a bit silly) practicing them allowed me to sound very British for the production. It was very interesting to learn all the mistakes Americans typically make when trying to affect a British Accent. Using this program, I was able to avoid them.
