Battery Backup is little above 45 minutes for my Pentium G based machine with dual 24'' LED LCD monitors.
I really question the intellect of the person who thought putting a loud fan in UPS was a good idea.
Edit: After a year, the UPS stopped charging the batteries. Mind you, I did some deep testing with multimeter to find it was the charger that was defective not the batteries because UPS was showing replace batteries LED. I contacted the APC over email, they sent someone who replaced the UPS along with the batteries with another refurbished model (not new). It's working okay now. No change in fan loudness though.
Edit: Using it for 3 years now. Don't buy it. It's very loud. I have to play music to muffle the noise down. And the noisy fan can start anytime, even when it's off. It's not just that, the fan rotates so fast that, it makes my wooden table make humming sound through resonance. Stupid product. Germans went on the strike when this product was designed. This product is not meant to be used hot climate area like India.
