AMAZON'S SERVICE - Pre-ordered the game and got it within a few days post-release. Completely fine by me, I was happy getting the game fairly on time considering how poorly people have written about Amazon's pre-order (games) services.

THE GAME - An absolutely brilliant experience playing the game. I am through with 4-5 chapters in the game and there are at least 15 more to go. As far as the plot goes, it ain't much but its honest! and fun, so ridiculously fun. Every time I decide to play the game, I tell myself, "No more than an hour buddy, we need to work." And of course, find myself playing hours on end.
If you haven't played the previous games before, that's not at all an issue. Make sure you go through a couple of 'Borderland's story in *** minutes' videos on YouTube to get an idea of how the lore works. You will be heavily invested in the game: tons of side-quests, bazillion guns to loot, ample of time spending managing your loadout/skill-tree and a set of beautiful planets to explore. The game is completely 'open-world' so its highly subjective how much time it takes to get through the main missions.
If you are an easter-egg, pop-culture references and dark/witty humor fanatic like me, you will definitely fall in love with Borderlands 3.
Something I look at before deciding how good a game is - the 'replay' factor. Borderlands 3 keeps welcoming me back into the game no matter what time of the day (or night) it is. So yes, absolutely worth the investment.
Great game! So what's the... issue? Welp.

PERFORMANCE ISSUES - PS4 is a powerful console and Gearbox as a company is experienced with making great games. I was honestly surprised when the low-framerates, loading times and lags which broke the flow of game for me. Its during such times I wish I had purchased the game for PC instead. But something like this can be patched and fixed with timely updates so I am keeping my hopes up here.

ALL IN ALL, a wonderful and really fun experience. I can see myself playing Borderlands 3 for at least the next couple of months (or more) and trying out all the classes and playstyles the game has to offer. Well done, Gearbox.

My first BL game just for reference. Bought it as a big fan of Diablo 3 loot and shoot style

PROS
+Very fun gameplay and beautiful graphics
+ Good Campaign - about 30 hours for main missions and about 40% of side missions
+ So much content - 4 classes with each own skill tree which makes the game fresh
+ GUNS : Looting is so much fun and killing is so satisfying . The biggest draw for me
+ End game (still not done with base game) - lot like paragon levels in Diablo
+ Save points : If you die, you spawn right next to the dead zone and dead enemies stay dead so very helpful for noobs like me
+ Game music is so f**** good.

CONS
- User Interface QOL can be improved : Difficult to use map to navigate doesnt tell you which quest is close/far. Very annoying to decide what to do. Pathing is painful and map needs time to get used to. Navigating between planets and locations is not intuitive for sure and Ive played almost all RPG's/open world games (Far Cry/AC Odyssey etc)
- Main Bosses fight is annoying- if your under leveled you dont know if youre dead cause of that or just suck. No recommendation or help given on this
- Minor Lag in menu/UI . Manageable but you use the menu ever 5 mins so it gets annoying.
- Couch Coop sucks wanted 1 screen like diablo 3 its vertical , unplayable. Dont get it for Coop pls.

Overall very happy with the game, great for long term replay ability and so much FUN!

The perfect follow up to the legendary borderlands 2, hands down this game will take your mind off reality.Its the best looter shooter and offers 50+ hours of gameplay post which there's an endgame to explore, plus mayhem modes to enhance difficulty and also you can replay with other characters. The only downside is the minor lag while browsing the menu, inventory and the map navigation.
But the Guns this time around feel like they have more depth,character and uniqueness...
Infact if you like games like fallout, the divison, doom, far cry....then surely you will enjoy borderlands 3...

The game was sealed, however it has Arabic text on the cover! I know PS4 discs are region free, however I wasn't sure if the PSN code for skins would work or if they would be any initial language challenges.

Customer care was helpful though. Their technical team confirmed the game and code will work. If not, they will replace or refund.

Only downside now is the manual which reads back to front (right to left). Maybe, it's unique!

Ordine effettuato il 07/11/20, la recensione la sto scrivendo il 23/07/21; dal momento in cui l'ho acquistato a quando lo sto recensendo è passato quasi un anno, questo perché mi ero completamente dimenticato di lui in quanto sommerso da una valanga di altri giochi che dovevo ultimare.

Borderlands 3 è il prosieguo di Borderlands 2, quindi se non hai apprezzato e/o hai odiato la saga, questo farà la stessa identica fine degli altri, scaffale.

Se invece come me sei un fan, stai certo che apprezzerai tantissimo questo nuovo capitolo.
In Borderlands 3 ci sono molti grandi miglioramenti come per esempio gli alberi delle abilità più elaborati, abilità più varie, nuove armi, nuovi personaggi etc..., fai conto che TUTTO quello che era presente nei vecchi capitoli è stato migliorato, dalla grafica ai movimenti ai dialoghi.

Ci sono ancora alcuni piccoli bug, oltre al fatto che è molto più pesante rispetto agli altri capitoli (pesa addirittura di più di The Handsome Collection), tuttavia ne varrà la pena, soprattutto dal punto di vista grafico.
Le missioni sono come previsto, trova, raccogli, uccidi, tuttavia le storie dietro le missioni (soprattutto quelle secondarie) mi hanno davvero stupito per la qualità, come anche le storie e le lotte contro i boss che, a mio avviso, sono le migliori del franchise finora.
