5.0 out of 5 stars A Seriously Practical Charging/Data Cable For Multi Device Platform Owners... 29 June 2014
By JP - Published on Amazon.com
The Wecharger 3-in-1 USB Data Sync & Charger Cable is amazing because it offers up 3 different connections on the same cord. Let's face it, Apple devices and Android devices will likely never have the same charger/data port. For those who own newer and older Apple, you are using two different charging/data adapters. Having these multiple cables just gets in the way and for me creates too many problems and messes.

This product is awesome because I only need to keep track of one cable, not three. With a port designed for Micro-B, Lightning, and Apple 30-pin, my top three necessary cables are all available in one. Okay, yes, you can't use all three ports at the exact same time because your device will block the other ports. But this cable is great for keeping at work and other places where you don't want to keep dragging multiple cables back and forth. Perfect for vacations and travel. The light design in the cable is cool and adds a fun aspect to the cable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gimmicky yes but actually cool and a lot of fun - this is how things charge in Star Trek 29 June 2014
By Joel Avrunin - Published on Amazon.com
I didn't quite know what to expect, but as soon as I plugged in this cable and saw the nifty blue LED lights animate, I flashed back to watching people run wires and cables in Star Trek. Didn't they always light up? This cable, while reducing your total charging current a bit, certainly does look cool and is a lot of fun. You will certainly get comments when people see the power "flowing" from you USB port into your cell phone. It is also convenient to have 3 outputs on the end so you can charge micro-USB, 30-pin, and lightning devices with 1 cable. You can't do them all at the same time, but it allows you to carry just 1 cable in general. It's also cool that the blue LED light show stops when the device is fully charged, a really handy feature. The lightning connector is a bit stepped and extended, so I had no issues plugging it into my iPhone 5S even when inside a moderately sized AmazonBasics case.

Recommended fun and frivolous cable that is also quite useful.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Apple certified, Apple devices reject this after latest update 7 July 2014
By Lon J. Seidman - Published on Amazon.com
The Wecharger cable is a neat USB charging with LED lights that indicate the rate of charge.

It has three different connectors: a lightning adapter for new iOS devices, a dock connector for older iOS and iPod devices, and a microUSB connector for everything else. It appears as though the cable can only differentiate a 1 amp charge from a slower rate of power. It would have been nice for an additional mode to detect a 2 amp power flow. It also had a noticeable plastic smell when I took it out of its packaging.

But - and this is a big but - the cable is NOT Apple certified and it will apparently no longer work with Apple devices running the latest iOS updates. Both my iPads rejected the cable after the update was installed. So the lightning plug is all but useless now.

DISCLOSURE: Wecharger sent this product to me to review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent all-in-one charger! 27 June 2014
By 🎭 FreeSpirit - Published on Amazon.com
This charger came as such a blessing! It can charge the three devices that I need to charge every single day - iPhone, iPad (I have an iPad 2), and Kindle. I wasn't too sure about the quality when I first read the reviews, but after having used the product for a week, I am very pleased with it. it works better than I had expected. The cable has a USB port on one side to plug into a USB adapter or a PC/Mac for charging. The other end has three prongs - the 30-pin adapter, lightning adapter, and a micro-usb adapter. I have not charged all three devices simultaneously yet, but my phone and iPad charge together pretty well. The lighted cable seemed strange at first, but now I am used to it. I personally prefer the cables did not light up so that I could use the cable on my bedside, but it's not a major deal breaker for me. The neat thing is that once the devices are charged, the cable stops blinking.

Keep in mind that the cable is not Apple certified, but I have been using non-MFI cables for a several years now and have never had a problem. MFI cables just tend to be double the price of these ones, while these work just as well.

Very neat way to keep the desk clutter free with just one cable. Also eliminates the need to have multiple USB adpaters. Well worth the price for the quality of the product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very unique, handy cable that takes the place of three ... 10 June 2014
By Deb - Published on Amazon.com
I have cables all over the place, including a few that simply wouldn’t work with any of my Apple devices. One time I ordered a 30-pin cable for my first generation iPad and was way unhappy when it wasn’t recognized. I was told on the screen, in no uncertain terms, that “Charging is not supported with this accessory.” I may as well have thrown my money out the window.

What I especially like, in addition to the instant recognition of the cable, is the fact that I can charge three different types of devices. The cable is not sufficiently heavy-duty to support more than one device at the same time and is not probably not intended to. As soon as I plugged in the 8-pin Lightning pin to my iPad Air, I head the very familiar “blink” and it began to charge.

The unique, but not essential visible flow of current is rather cool and I do love it. I’ve had this cable for a couple of months and it continues to perform as expected. Fast, efficient, and ultra-useful. The only problem is that when I use the 8-pin, I have to maneuver it a bit around my case to get it in the port. Otherwise, I’m very pleased with this cable.
