I really like the simple nature of this selfie stick in particular. Just plug it in and it works. You don't have to worry about the unreliable Bluetooth connection provided by some other devices. I also like the build quality of this one. It feels solid and well made. Some others feel very light and flimsy, but not this one. I recommend this to anyone looking for a simple yet functional selfie stick.

I am choosing this one from one of the smaller children because it is a lighter weight, It shrinks down to the size it can fit into a child's pocket. I am getting the older ones blue tooth compatible one. I am choosing this one, because they don’t have to have connection and pairing knowledge and this one can just be plugged in. It's also one of the lighter weight selfie sticks. A lot of people prefer the stocky more sturdy heavier ones, but for a 5 year old, I need something light enough that they can hold it when it is telescoped out.
This one says it is and it appears to be compatible with most new smart phones. I tried my Galaxy Note5 and iPhone6 plus in it and it stayed in place. Right now we are in a period where all of the companies are transitioning t the iPhone 6's and the Samsung Notes along with a slew of other new phones, so I cant give a knowledgeable review as to if the other will work for you. Luckily it won't matter with me since they are at the bottom of the totem pole of phone hand-me-downs. The kids have the old iphone 4s so I am sure it will be just what I needed.

It worked real good and easy to use. It is small enough to fit in my purse , my granddaughter's purse, or my coat pocket without being a hindrance . It does come with a case and a wrist strap. It was a little difficult to get the strap on but once it was in it was good to go. I do not use the case, cause like umbrellas , I find them more of a hassle than a plus. Not being Blue Tooth does have its benefits. I don't have to worry about it being charged so were ever we go , we can just pull it out of our purse, coat pocket or back pack and we are ready. My granddaughter did take it to a concert she attended last month and she was happy to be able to get some shots of the band that she would not be able to have gotten without it. It stretches out over two feet and that can make a difference.
I did receive this product for a promotional price for my honest and unbiased opinion, which I gave.
I received this in the mail today and I like it so far. It took me a little while to figure out how to get my phone (iPhone 5, in a hard non-bulky plastic case) secured into the holder. Once I got it in, I fully extended the stick. For being so short, it extends out pretty far (I'm about 5'3" and I could look at the dead bugs inside of my hanging lamp, which is roughly 5 feet above me. Note to self: Clean lamps).
It seems to be pretty sturdy, which is something you need in anything that holds your expensive smart phone.
My only complaint is that the tightening mechanism that keeps your phone in place (not that holds the phone, but the thing that makes it tilt on the stick? Hopefully that makes sense...) is kind of moody. It fell forward a couple of times and ruined my fabulous selfie. I just made sure it was tightened as far as it could possibly tighten before any pictures and I was golden.
It is very compact. It's about the length of a normal pen and the part that holds the phone folds down to make it even smaller. It comes with a little bag to carry it in and a wrist holder so you don't drop it (which is especially good for me, I'm clumsy!). Getting the wrist holder in was sort of difficult but I took the instruction's suggestion and used a pin to push it through. Bam! Done.
