4.0 out of 5 stars Nice phone case for my son, two design tweaks 4 December 2016

My purchase decision for this phone case was based primarily on one factor: color. My son loves anything green, and he really wanted a green case to protect his new Note 4. I wanted a wallet style because I think it offers a little more drop protection than the slim style cases. He likes it because he can use it as a wallet and only carry one item instead of two.

The case does offer excellent drop protection. He’s dropped his phone several times with no problems. The card slots are plentiful and spacious. He has no problem sliding cards in and out as necessary. There are two things that aren’t ideal: the magnetic closure and the space around the charging port.

I don’t like magnets near anything with a magnetic strip. So far, all he carries in this case is his library card and some gift cards. But, I do worry that they can become demagnetized by the closure. Secondly, the space around the charging port is a little tight. He has better luck charging his phone with a charging cable with a longer nose to it. It’s a small thing, but did cause some angst when he first tried to charge with a different cable. But, since it’s his case and my son is happy, I’m happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good deal, good buy 13 April 2016

I bought this for my Note 4 having used wallet cases for many years. This is among the best quality that I've personally seen. I didn't expect the case to protect my phone much, I only wanted it to keep my credit cards, but it does actually do a decent job of protecting my phone. My wallet cases in the past have only clipped in the phone which the phone will fall out when dropped. This one it stays in. My only complaint is that the headphone jack opening on the case is too small so I cut it out much bigger. Now with the cut out it fits most headphones but some aux cords are still too thick and I have to take it out of the case. I can fit a few dollar bills but I don't normally carry cash so this is never a problem.

3.0 out of 5 stars DONT BUY RED - NOT ALL CREATED EQUAL! 10 February 2016
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

The red one fell apart fast, had weak magnet, difficult to access on/off button (see comment below). Pink one, great material, easy access to on/off button, strong magnet. Go figure, it's like they were made by opposite companies that stamped one brand's name... . . .

Update:

This thing scuffed very quickly. The material is very weak and now it looks unsightly. Loved the design and light weight, but the material ended up being of very poor quality. When I bought the hot pink case for S4, the material held up exellently well, but it seems the red material is not the same as the pink and that is why it fell apart.

Magnet is a bit weak, but can fit 5 plastics, 2 paper i.d.'s, few bills and still closes with a bit help. I do think if I drop phone, the magnet won't hold up - not like my previous one.
1.0 out of 5 stars This POS factory reset my phone 12 November 2016

This case was horrible. Well... it would have been great if it hadn't held my phone so tightly that it pushed the power and volume button simultaneously which did a factory reset of my phone. I lost all of my contacts and photos that were not saved on my SD card.

After it did that I thought "What the hell... I already lost everything and I like the way the case looks." Yeah, well it did it again when I put the phone back in the case. At that point there was nothing left to lose buy I'm not risking anything else.

I will be returning this case. Just looking at it pisses me off because it reminds me of everything I lost.

Fml.

Ps. Amazon logistics sucks. The girl that delivered the package threw it over the fence instead of leaving it where instructed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great case, but...... 22 November 2014

Looks good, feels good, holds all the items/cards I need but, the power button is constantly an issue with this case, as are the volume buttons!? Unable to power off when I want to, the volume key on the protective case is WAY too sensitive, constantly makes me fumble to either turn up or down the volume on a call. The rubber protection case is just too tight on the controls for the Note 4. I still like the case, just need some trimming on the inset keys.
