Sakura Brush pens are amazing. And those of you who are saying that these are not helpful I doubt whether they have used it to its full potential or not. I used this for all kinds of painting, literally; For ink paintings, typography, water colour pencils! I have stopped working with the normal brushes now. I read a comment saying that the water flow cannot be controlled but I say you very well can by controlling the amount of pressure you apply to the barrel while painting. This is an wonderful product!

It is difficult to control water flow in these, it ends up leaving huge amount of water on the paper. Good while travelling, but it leaves more water on paper then you would want. I use it only when i'm on the move with my Animorphia.

A water brush is basically your normal brush with a water container attached to its back. What this does is it makes the brush always remain moist and it also (to a certain extent) nullifies the need to carry around a container for water
* Water brushes are best for travel sketching. Since they have water in them u can use them by just dipping into your colour palette
* Since the brush is constantly moistened it helps in getting better gradients as the colour you dip in will slowly be saturated with water, hence making it lighter
* They are available as point brush and flat brush. Point brushes are bad if your trying to do a large area because the brush isn't too big and it requires constant dipping into the colour to maintain the flow. Flat brushes may be better suited in these situations
* It requires a bit of practice (as with any new material) before you can handle it properly

I have attached a picture of my own water brush and I have enjoyed its use, the only problem is i cannot use it to cover large areas. the brush tip has changed colour and will continue to do so as it keeps dipping in paint but it has not affected its usage. the color just stays on the fibres and does not mix into the colour you are dipping into.

It's awesome. Even though I'm into sketching and mostly using the Sakura Pigma micron pens but yeah these would be great for painting and some cursive lettering too 😊
