5.0 out of 5 stars Saves me money, I don't need to get a new phone 13 January 2013

Ok, after using my cell for 2 years, battery life runs out very fast, recently it even shut down on me occasionally even battery still has 50%. I thought it's the cell phone's problem, I've been struggling whether to upgrade my phone as my contract is due with the provider, I can get a new phone for free if renew for 2 year contract, but I won't have the old monthly pricing anymore, will cost $10 more each month which will make my budget tight with other expenses every month. As I took out the battery I noticed that it's expanded in the large part of the middle area, I could hardly put the cover back on since the battery became thicker and out of shape. A friend of mine told me can order a new battery on Amazon to try. I'm glad to find it here, I received it 2 days ago, works wonderfully, I have a cell phone with long battery life again for the cost less than $6 not $50 for the battery selling by phone provider, I want to say thank you to Amazon and the seller for making my life easier :)
3.0 out of 5 stars Wasn't able to revive phone 11 December 2016

Did not revive the old phone
I ordered one of these to get my friends phone working. We expected it just needed a new battery, but this did not fix it. I got the phone to charge, and it appeared that the battery was (at least) partially working, maybe at a low power. We couldn't get the phone to effectively work though even with it plugged in. This seemed odd, as we could technically power up the phone and see text on the screen. Our internet searches seem to indicate a low power problem, would cause the phone to reboot. Ultimately, I don't know if the problem was with the phone or the battery. Both seemed to work -at least partial- yet I think a low power problem was the result. As a result I am giving a three star rating. I got the product as expected in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it did not fix the problem but I can't say for sure it should have.
4.0 out of 5 stars Right Battery For LG Optimus-V, And A Charging Tip 2 November 2013

After reading other reviews, I had concerns whether this was in fact the right battery for my LG Optimus V. It is the correct battery and I accidentally discovered something that dramatically improves the life of a charge. The first time I charged the battery, it only lasted about 3 days (I don't use my phone that much), which was only slightly better than I was getting from the old battery (which when new would last 5 or 6 days). Needless to say, I was not thrilled. The next time my phone needed to be charged, the battery had actually died, so my phone was off when I hooked it up to the charger. I got almost a full week from that charge, so I figured it was just a glitch the first time. The next charge, my phone was turned on when I charged it - back to about 3 days. So, for the next charge I made sure the phone was turned off - back up to a week. This has continued to be the case. Turned on, the charge lasts about 3 days (and yes, the indicator shows that it is 100% charged). Turned off, the charge lasts 6 to 7 days depending on how much I use it. I'm not sure why it makes such a huge difference, but it does.
3.0 out of 5 stars Meh 9 February 2015

Not sure if it's me or the battery. I can say this, it's no better than the 2 year old original. I suppose if you don't have many apps running on your phone you'd be okay with this battery but what's the use of having a smart phone with a few apps?
I have a hard time believing this is a real OEM battery.
1.0 out of 5 stars Review of LG OEM LGIP-400N Battery 10 January 2014
By Herman Gregory Fersner - Published on Amazon.com

I chose this battery for a replacement as it appeared to be the same battery that is in my Optima LG-VM670. However, this battery performs the same as my discarded battery does: it only maintains a charge for less than 24 hours (whether the phone is in use or not). If I do not charge this phone prior the 24 hours, I will find that my phone has shut down and will not operate until I again charge my battery. I cannot think of any other reason that my phone does not hold a charge other than the battery is not functioning properly. I have not contacted the seller as I trust that when I order an item that the seller is sending me a new product. I have discarded the package and do not have the sellers address (nor do I know of any other way to contact the owner). But I am totally disappointed with this product.
