About the Author
Nitin Singhania holds a bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from Presidency college, Kolkata. He is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary also. He worked in Coal India Ltd. Before joining the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) in 2013 in West Bengal Cadre. He has deep interest in Indian art and culture and is known for guiding students in this area. Presently he is posted as Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Earlier, he has worked as Assistant Collector in Burdwan, West Bengal.

Needless to say that being written by an IAS officer he has kept all the aspects in mind that an aspirant want in an book.
eg it is mentioned that mother India won Oscar. Golden temple was completed in 1764. Babur introduced gunpowder in india(he introduced cannons) etc
Those jargons are used directly without any meaning explained ...
If one wants just to mug up things its good for him , if one wants to clear basics and is in search of logical approach pf subject must consider some other source its not at all good
Thats only bad point of the book
If one doest likes to read ccrt website then only he should go for it
