Product description

Review

Excellent book. Madhav and Riya make a good story and it takes new turns when they go on spaceship and explore new intergalactical planetary systems. Book deals nicely with the poverty, terrorism, depression during world war 2 and world political problems. Or may be not, I am just hallucinating. This is a simple book with simple story. Go read it, you will enjoy it --By Bhallukie on November 16, 2014

The story is simple yet lovable. I couldn't resist reading the entire book in one sitting. I too fell in love with the character Riya while reading the book. This is my third favorite book from the author Chetan Bhagat. The other too being 'five point someone' and 'three mistakes of my life'. --By Onion Knight on November 27, 2014

About the Author

Chetan Bhagat published his first novel first novel 'Five Point Someone' in 2004 and this very first venture took him to the peaks of fame and popularity. The book depicted the story of an IIT student who considers himself to be below average than all the other students in IIT. This book won the Society Young Achiever's Award and Publisher's Recognition Award. The story was adopted into a film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starred famous Bollywood stars like Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor. His second book was 'One Night At A Call Center' and this too was a great success. This book was made into a movie and was named 'Hello' and Chetan himself wrote the script. The movie was noted by the special appearance of Bollywood star Salman Khan and was an average hit. His next novel has cricket as the major theme. It is named 'Three Mistakes of My Life'. His fourth book is named 'Two States'. -

I always wanted to read at least one Chetan Bhagat's book as I liked the movies "2 states" and "3 idiots". The book felt more like a Bollywood movie script than a novel. The author hasn't taken much efforts in his writing. It's not just the English that's simple - the story line, characters, plot everything is too shallow to feel like a novel. The story is totally unreal, nothing that I could relate to. The author has gone with the style of making the bad ones look totally bad (Riya's family for instance) and the good ones look super good (Riya for instance). In short, it's simply not the kind of writing I like.

It's something which very girl feels that when she loves someone but couldn't express it. Every girl have dreams of getting a guy like Madhav but sometimes it doesn't happen in very ones life. Like Madhav said if we keep trying things it will happen one day.
