If you want to learn hadoop and components of Hadoop Ecosystem from the scratch and master them, then undoubtedly this book is the best one in market. Tom white has explained the concepts clearly and also has given a large number of working examples which help to grasp quickly. This book concepts of HDFS, MapReduce and Hadoop in detail as these concepts form the base for all the other components such as HIVE, HBase, Pig, Flume, etc. If you are new to Hadoop and understand it better then definitely it's a must have. And if you look for knowledge on components of Hadoop Ecosystem, then just drop your idea of buying this one.
