This Motor Driver Board is designed to Work with L293D IC. The L293D is a popular motor driver IC designed to provide bidirectional drive currents of up to 600-mA at voltages from 4.5 V to 36 V. Compact L293D Motor Driver Board makes it much more convenient to use. With Terminal Blocks for connecting motors & power supply and Berg Sticks for control signals from microcontroller This is most commonly used driver circuit in robots. This can control 2 DC Motors, their direction using control lines and their speed using PWM.

However chip is not working at all for me, with all the right connections.

The driver shield seemed fine when arrived but doesn't function. My friend ordered two, one for me and one for him but his shield worked while mine did not. Could not return as it was mentioned before buying. First bad experience from Amazon.

Good product, good price. If you are using 3.3 v control signal, and 5 v to drive the motor, you need to short 5 volt with 12 v nodes in power supply. Without that the thing will not work. Also make sure you connect the ground.

I did not get the chip shown in the picture. But the only difference is that in this chip, there are 2 pins to control the motor, instead of 3 (as shown in the picture). The PWM pin is absent. But the product works! I don't need the PWM pin. So, I'm satisfied with the product.
