The attempt to cover versatile personalities from across India to not only write about their art but to present the individual trials, tribulations n immense strength of character of these Drama Queens is laudable. The easy style and glimpses of a bygone era makes it readable. The focus on the art that they represented speaks volumes about the integrity of the writer. A little more on the technical aspects of the artistes would have made the book more invaluable for posterity. Overall an immensely mammoth attempt. For that, SALUTE!!!
